The Environmental Unit of the Wenchi Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the management of Methodist Hospital in the Bono Region are set to undertake mass burial for 28 unidentified bodies.

The bodies according to a statement issued had remained in the hospital's mortuary for almost three years without identification.

A copy of the statement signed by Mr Jimah Yakubu, the Wenchi Municipal Coordinating Director, and made available to Sompa FM said the hospital management had made persistent public announcements for identification and collection of the bodies, but to no avail.

The hospital management has therefore requested the need to conduct the mass burial, the statement indicated, and urged the public to visit the facility for the identification and collection of the bodies before Friday January 31, 2025.
