The Heart for Children Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization has inaugurated a-four-unit classroom block for the Nsoatre African Faith Basic School in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region.
It has a staff common room and an Information Communication Technology
(ICT) centre.
Mr Solomon Boateng, the Founder and Director of the Foundation pledged the foundation's commitment to tackle some educational and social needs of the people, stressing the foundation readiness to impact positively on the lives of the people.
"Emerging community challenges have become a responsibility for us", he stated and urged the people to support him with prayers, as the NGO worked to tackle those challenges.
Mr Joseph Asiedu, the Headmaster of the School, explained that the school which started with only 35 students now had a total of 744 students, comprising 368 boys and 376 girls, saying it had maintained a perfect score in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) since 2013.
The BECE performance of the students ranged between aggregates 12 to 23, he stated, and commended the teachers, urging them to redouble their performance to better the grades of the students.
Nana Okyei Baffour Agyeman Tia II, the Nseniahene (sub-chief) of Nsoatre, expressed appreciation to the foundation and commended its founder his selfless services to Nsoatre and the adjoining communities, and advised the students to learn hard.
