Managing Director for VIP Jeoun transport company, Adakabre Frimpong Manso has stated it clearly that no VIP Jeoun bus has been involved in an accident this week.

According to him, it is an identity theft bus belonging to individual bus operator.
Speaking with the media in Accra, Adakabre Frimpong Manso said that, "over the years, we have been faced with the illegality of several people branding their buses exactly like ours who are not part of us, do not follow our strict regulations and service provision standards and seem only to want to enjoy our long established goodwill.

He however led Ghana Police Service investigations team to apprehend the fake
VIP bus operators at Odawna at Kwame Nkrumah Circle for interrogations and also compel them to remove the fake VIP tags from their buses.

He therefore said they are going to sue transport operators who use VIP trademark (Red Cherry color) without permission should rather refrain from using it in their business.
