Mr George Ayisi Boateng has highlighted on what he described as “work to be done in Chairman Antwi Bosiako’s led New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region.
The former ambassador to South Africa shared his thought on the re-election of Chairman Wontumi amidst crisis in the party.
Speaking with Sompa news, the respected politician expressed worried and emphasized on the need to unite the front whiles admitting there’ s a lot to be done in the current state of the party in the Region.
“He has a lot do, the criticisms are many, the talking is too much, the discrimination is too much, he has a lot to do, he has to bring everyone on board, there shouldn’t be an instance because of a chairman, a member of parliament cannot share his view, there shouldn’t be a situation where because of chairman, a founding member cannot exercise his right to vote, there shouldn’t be an instance because of the same chairman, party council of elders cant exercise their voting right, the party has a lot do, he said.
He further cautioned the party hierarchy in the region to work assiduously to improve on all dilapidated roads in the region citing Amansie and Kwabre roads as a case study.
