The former foreign affairs minister in the erstwhile president Kuffour's administration, Hon Akwasi Osei-Agyei has called on Ghanaians to remain calm as the government put measures to mitigate the economic hardship on the country.

Hon Akwasi Osei-Agyei, a national chairman hopeful in an interview with Sompa news said the current economic situation and the rising cost of goods and services in the country are the same across the world because of Ukraine and Russian war and covid-19 which have had a direct impact on the global economy.

The former member of parliament for Ejisu Juaben constituency called on Ghanaians to trust the government as he put measures in place to revive the dead economy.
