A man, whose identity could not be immediately ascertained, living in Booku Nkwanta, Wenchi District , was on Monday, August 8th caught with a mutilated human body parts.

It was gathered that some residents suspicious of the movement of the man, had alerted some elderly men and the assemblyman of the area.

In a video footage recorded at the scene of the crime, the suspect was made to bring out mutilated human body parts from a bag, as some of the elders questioning him on how those mutilated human parts came to been.

Also in the video, the suspect could be heard denying involvement in ritual killing and yet unable to tell them how he got those human parts.

sompaonline.com learnt that the assembly member of the area, Hon Mustapha called police to the scene of the crime.

According to the eye witness who spoke with sompaonline.com correspondence Eric Murphy, the suspect, a self acclaimed evangelist has been seen living in an isolated building in the outskirts of the town.

“He is a evangelist, he preaches all the time but he stays far from the town, some boys normally go to that area to smoke wee, as to how those skeletal parts of human are with him, I can’t tell, an eye witness said.

Meanwhile, police found from his room, a set of cutlasses, scissors, machete, fork, pens and other deadly weapons.

The police has since launched an investigation into the story
