A televangelist and founder and leader of World Mission outreach London and Ghana, has bemoaned excessive breeds of bribery and corruption in the country especially in the public sector and the church at large.
Crowning a 5 days power packed convention with the theme “power conference 22” the socialist reiterated that it is high time both public and private sector including the church rewards the effort of individuals who have been outstanding in their various roles.
According to him, Jesus Christ, according to Christian methodology is a perfect example of the need to for motivation and reward.
He explained that Jesus died for the glory of saving the lost according to Hebrews 8.
“the will power for Jesus to die on the cross was due to the fact, that the father has promised to honor him, Jesus didn’t die merely, he knew what was at stake, that is the glory, the father has promise him in Hebrews 8 that he will glorify him, so in John 17, Jesus reminded the father of his reward”, he explained.
He further stated that there is the need for every institution, country, the church and organizations to cultivate the culture of rewarding the honest people, this he believes is the best way to curb bribery and corruption in the country.
“the reason message of reward is timely and important for the church and the country is, that we were not brought out with the culture of honoring the honest, most awards are been paid for which shouldn’t be the case, it breeds corruption, the honest, dedicated people are overlooked, when this happen, people tend to make wealth out of their position because there is no rewards for such people, he maintained.
He said corruption in businesses, politics, and abuse of authority has seen rapid increase in the informal and formal sector because the country does not honor its heroes.
He called on government, and other cooperate entities to motivate their subordinates to help increase productivity, honesty and dedication.
