The Ashanti regional Communication Bureau of the ruling New Patriotic Party has threatening to petitioned the special prosecutor over an alleged bribery scandal by former president John Dramani Mahama to a multimedia Journalist in Kumasi to induced his work against President Akufo Addo.

The directorate also called on National media commission to take interest in the said bribery allegations.

Addressing a press conference in Kumasi today, the Ashanti regional Communication officer of the ruling New Patriotic Party , Dennis Kwakwa expressed concerns about the ethnocentric way of politics undertaking by the opposition NDC in the Ashanti region which according to him has a tendency creating tension on the region.

He further accused the NDC for financially inducing Nana Kwadwo Jantua, a Journalist with Kumasi based Nhyira Fm with 2000 US dollars, to insult and degrade President Akufo Addo and his work in the region.

Dennis Kwakwa also announced the withdrawal of all their services or participation in the political shows of Nhyira FM and Luv FM both in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region of the Multimedia fraternity.

He stated that, until their demands or plea is considered, they have boycotted all their participation's on the political shows on both radio stations.
