A former minister of lands and natural resources, Hon Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has admitted in an interview with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye on Sompa Tv socio-political morning show on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 that crops are rare due to excessive abuse of the lands.

According to him, the lands are destroyed due to adverse operations of illegal small scale mining to the extent that the lands can no longer be used to cultivate food crops.

He further said, he has engaged the personnel from social scientist of council for scientific and industrial research, who confirmed to him that our lands are destroyed such that it could only be reclaimed and used into Para-rubber.

He maintained that the sky view of our forest reserve was extremely deplorable and unpleasant to the sight.
