Residents of Bosie, a suburb of Kronum in the Afigya Kwabre South District in the Ashanti Region are in tantrum as a 52 year Peter Yeboah known publicly as Agya Mensah has been killed in a cold blood in the early hours of Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 at a nearby house close to his residence.
The wife, Madam Akosua Fobi told sompaonline, Eric Murphy that the late husband returned home from work around 9pm with his company vehicle.
She explained, after dining, he decided to sleep in his company vehicle to make sure it is safe from robbery.
According to the wife, effort to lure her husband to sleep in the house proved futile, as a result, altercations ensued between them which led him back to the vehicle.
She said, around 5 am on Wednesday morning, an informant informed her that the husband's vehicle gates are widely open yet he's not in, she therefore rushed to the scene and found the lifeless body of her husband lying in a pool of blood, yet nothing was taken from him.
She claimed prior to the death of her husband, there were series of gun shots at dawn, an incident which drew the attention of the residents yet no one was able to get close to the scene.
She added that the husband was not shot but was stabbed in the chest and as a result lost pants of blood.
The senior brother, Kwaku Agyeman also explained that his brother has no problem with anyone, and could not fathom why someone will caused his death, he therefore alleged that he suspect foul play in the death of his brother.
The late Mr Kwame Mensah left behind two kids and a wife; he's said to have worked with B5 Company leading to his death.
The assembly man, Mr Abraham Amponsah on his part said, the community is not safe as contract killing has become the other of the day.
He alluded that about 5 similar incidents has happened within a period of time, a situation he described as a disturbing one.
He has therefore appealed to the security apparatus to as a matter of urgency patrol around the enclave to avert such occurrences in the near future.
