The founder and presiding Apostle of Victory Outreach Church / Victory Missions London, Apostle Paul Kofi Agyekum has said, he hoped God does not base his judgment of Ghanaians and politicians on grounds of morality but rather on the accountability of how the country has been governed over the years.
On a roundtable discussion on Sompa Tv socio-political morning show on Thursday, October 20th, 2022, the renowned televangelist cum social commentator prayed that he hopes that politicians are judged according to their respective roles in governance and not on immorality grounds.
He is worried about the continued blame-shifting that has become a phenomenon from politicians to ordinary citizens, a situation he describes as unacceptable.
He cited the president's comment during an interview with Otec Fm as unfair and hopes that the president makes amends and creates a harmonious environment that accepts criticism.
“Honestly the president's comment is not fair, it creates discomfort political environment, you have been given the mandate to serve, and the citizens expect good management of the economy, in a situation where there are continued outbursts from the citizens, then there's a problem and it's the mandate of the president to calm matters instead of throwing jabs, he started.
He advised the presidency to take precautionary measures to curtail the economic menace that has fallen and focus on his mandate.
“People are going through psychological turmoil, we need to avert the situation, he concluded.
