Wontumi chanted BMW “Bawumia Must Win over the economy - Andy Owusu

Chairman Wontumi has debunked the allegation leveled against Benard Antwi Boasiako, in a conversation with Omanhene on Sompa TV.

In a rebuttal to the earlier conversation with Mr. Abraham Boadi on Sompa Tv on the chants by the regional chairman, aid to Mr. Antwi Boasiako has said, there's an iota of truth in what Mr. Abraham Boadi said however said the statement has been misrepresented.

According to Mr. Owusu, the chants by the regional chairman were in response to the appreciation of the cedi to the dollar and the stability of the economy.

“The chants were not a campaign message, the Bawumia Must Win was a response to the win over the dollar, win over the influx of the economy, which of course Bawumia spearheaded” so the chants were to praise the vice president for his winning mentality over the dollar and the economy”, he told Omanhene.
