Former president, John Dramani Mahama has accused the Nana Addo-led government of subjecting students at various secondary schools to ill-treatment over its bad implementation of the Free Senior High School project.
An initiative the former president recounts was hastily introduced, which led to students losing weight at various secondary school campuses having had their feeding system badly affected.
He made this statement to Sompa News reporter Eric Annan at Breman Asikuma in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa (AOB) district in his ongoing three-day delegates tour to the Central Region.
He remarked, the bizarre situation has left senior high students to be saved foods often rejected by dogs.
The former president in his submission attributed the confronted feeding challenges to the government's centralization of the feeding system.
A directive the former president promised to decentralize when voted back to power, after leaving various SHS heads depressed over purchasing foodstuffs for their respective schools with their resources.
