Parliamentary aspirant for the Ekumfi constituency in the Central Region on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Meshach Mighty Abekah-Gyenin has outlined the betterment of the area as his utmost priority for contesting the incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Abeiku Crentsil.
He admitted that the sitting MP has done his best in other developmental avenues but insisted there is more to be done.
He expressed the constituency deserves better from what it is currently benefitting.
The South African-based lawyer told Sompa News reporter Eric Annan that the incumbent MP needs to acquire more knowledge to propel him to affect the needed change the people of Ekumfi desire.
He recalls Hon. Abeiku Crentsil to lack the skill of attracting investors to the area in his reign as MP for the constituency having highlighted the youth of Ekumfi to be suffering from unemployment.
Abekah-Gyenin recounted he plans to attract investors to the area to bring change to the constituency, particularly for its youth as he hopes to win the primaries and subsequently be voted as the MP of Ekumfi.
The zealous politician with an accounting and law background, said empowering the lives of constituents and developing Ekumfi is his top priority.
