Presidential hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Ghana's immediate past Trade Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng has appealed to Muslims in the Central Region to offer prayers on his behalf in his quest to succeed Nana Addo as the next flag-bearer for the political party.
He noted that prayers offered by Muslims, particularly in their period of fast as presently witnessed, appears much effective as they're hurriedly heard by Allah.
He then charged Muslims to remember him their prayers to emerge victor in the party's pending presidential primaries.
Alan Cash, as affectionately called made this statement at the Cape Coast Central Mosque on Thursday following a day visit to the Central Region in his stakeholder engagement with chiefs, Islamic clerics and market women.
His visit to the Mosque saw the Region's Chief Imam, Mallam Rashid Tijani, Alhaji Mahmud Denda Mazawonji V, the Central Regional Zongo Chief, and a host other all seated to welcome the fine politician.
Speaking to Sompa TV/FM's Eric Annan in his address to the Islamic clerics, identified himself as one of them having had the mother hail from Elmina, which deems it fit to beseech them for help through prayers.
Alhaji Mahmud Denda Mazawonji V, the Central Regional Zongo Chief (Sarki Zongo) addressing the politician and his entourage, advised Alan Kyeremanteng to always endeavour to preach on peace in his campaign messages after endorsing the selflessness of the former Trade Minister in his earlier engagement the media.
Alan Kyeremanteng in his stakeholder engagement after a stint visit to the Central Region heads to the Western Region where his nationwide engagement will be climaxed.
