Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Constituency Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region, Francis Ekow Asmah has described his party to have carried out enough developmental projects in the constituency to win them both parliamentary and presidential seats in the country's 2024 general election.
The NPP having performed woefully in KEEA in the last three general elections held, losing both seats to its political arch-rival the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has got Mr. Asmah share optimism to be sensing the wave of change this time around.
In an interview to Sompa News Eric Annan, the NPP KEEA Secretary indicated his party to have fulfilled all major projects it promised the people of KEEA in its 2020 campaign.
He opined the NPP to have duly completed and commissioned the Elmina Fishing Harbour which appeared topmost on its campaign radar coupled with a remarkable canoe landing site and a sea defence both at Komenda and Elmina.
These initiated projects he said will incite constituents of KEEA to vote massively for the NPP in the pending general election.
Ekow Asmah deduced that the NDC in its last eight years of governance had no foresight to its instituted projects in the constituency like the Elmina Fish Processing Factory and the Komenda Sugar Factory as non of these factories is in operation to be of benefit to the people of KEEA compared to the NPP's Elmina Fishing Harbour.
