Vexed Gomoa Central Parliamentary Candidate in the Central Region, Ekow Felix Nkrumah has spilled frustration towards his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after been disqualified to contest in the party's parliamentary race.
According to him, the NDC can never actualize it's dream of snatching the Gomoa Central parliamentary seat from its political arch-rival the New Patriotic Party (NPP) amid all its effort without his contribution, which he has declined to offer following his unpleasant disqualification from the constituency's parliamentary election.
It will be recall that the NDC in its parliamentary primaries in the Central Region some months back, had the process of Assin North, Effutu and the Gomoa Central Constituencies halted over area's internal party issues, hence scheduled by the party's leadership to have these constituencies reattended to.
Ekow Felix Nkrumah addressing the media after his unsuccessful venting process, told Sompa News Eric Annan to be disappointed in the Region's Venting Committee, judging from the fact that he has worked tirelessly for the party in the last nine (9) years consistently in the Gomoa Central Constituency.
Chairperson for the Central Regional NDC Parliamentary Venting Committee who doubles as the party's National Deputy Secretary, Lawyer Barbara Serwah Asamoah on candidate's disqualification, revealed the latter to be four (4) minutes late at the final day of filing, as his filing fee which ought to be in the form of banker's draft, was presented in cash together with his delayed documents.
The NDC, however, has set October 28 and 31, 2023 for the parliamentary primaries of its five initially withheld constituencies nationwide, which includes Gomoa Central after having respective candidates of the Effutu and Assin North Constituencies of the Central Region proceed unopposed.
