The National Democratic Congress (NDC) 2020 parliamentary candidate for Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Henry Osei Akoto has cited Ghana's recent inflation fall to be necessitated by government's failure to service the country's debt.
According to him, should government make it a point to service its debt,
will seize to unravel the real state of Ghana's inflation. Hence, its refusal to take the bull by the horn.
The magnanimous politician made this revelation in an interview with Sompa News Eric Annan following a programme held at the University of Cape Coast to commemorate this year's International Women's Day.
He bemoaned the fact that Ghana's economical woes appear evidential for all to see and feel it in their pockets, having quizzed to substantiate any of the promises made to Ghanaians by the Nana Addo-Bawumia government which seems to have yielded dividend in the pocket of the ordinary Ghanaian.
The NDC 2020 parliamentary candidate for the Oforikrom Constituency reiterated that amid all the exorbitant promises offered citizenry of the country to bestow immense hope in the present government, has rather had government accumulate outrageous loans which recently saw the capital market refuse Ghana loans due to the Nana Addo-Bawumia government's number of loan acquisition.
Henry Osei Akoto, nevertheless, pointed out to Ghanaians that it's never too late for a change of mind, as he urged all and sundry to make Ghana proud once more by voting right to elect the NDC and John Dramani Mahama to become the next president of Ghana in the country's general election slated for December 7 this year.
