Former Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi lost the Ejisu parliamentary and primary, having clocked 35 votes.
Despite overcoming an initial detention at the hospital on Friday night to make it to the voting centre.
Mr Nyantakyi's number of polled votes puts him in 5th place on the ballot with the incumbent 2nd Deputy Constituency Chairman garnering 393 votes out of the total votes cast.
The 2nd Deputy Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ejisu Constituency, Lawyer Kwabena Boateng's closest contender was Helena Mensah.
