Mr Bernard Oduro Takyi on Saturday 6th July 2024 formally donated 400 JM and Parliamentary Candidate branded T-shirts and cash amount of Five Thousand Ghana Cedi (GHS5,000) to the Dormaa East constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The T-shirts and cash donation forms part of his 13-orphan constituencies adopted personal initiative of assisting these constituencies to wrestle power from their political rivals, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming 7th December polls.
The orphan constituencies include Dormaa East, Sunyani West, Sunyani East and Berekum West constituencies of the Bono region, Mpohor and Essikado Ketan constituencies of the Western region, Dome Kwabenya in the Greater Accra region and the Asunafo North constituency of the Ahafo region.
The rest are Sefwi Akontombra in the Western North region, Mfantseman in the Central region, Techiman South in the Bono East region, Zabzugu and Tatale in the Northern region.
Mr Oduro Takyi has so far donated to six of the adopted orphan constituencies.
The Certified chartered economist and Member of the NDC during the donation also had community engagements in Wamanafo and Asuotiano township towards selling the vision of the Umbrella family.
Mr Oduro Takyi indicated that a vote for the NDC is a vote for the progress, development and second independence of the country.
The outspoken member of the NDC described the party's Parliamentary candidate as humble, hardworking and ready to win power for the development of the constituency.
Madam Racheal Owusuaa, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Dormaa East constituency of the Bono region expressed appreciation to Mr Oduro Takyi for the kind gesture and promised to fully utilized the T-shirt for victory.
