Former General Secretary of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s CPP Nana Yaa Jantuah has described the ‘Your Kwame Nkrumah’ charade by the NPP 2024 running mate to Dr.Mahamadu Bawumiah as unfortunate from someone who was ready to lead the country called Ghana.

According to Nana Yaa Jantuah, such comments and posture by Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh goes home to cement the earlier perception of him that he was full of arrogance. She noted that she was extremely shocked over the comments because Dr. Mathew Opoku Premeph was coming from a gathering the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has just advised him to live up to expectation.

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh during his unveiling says President Akufo-Addo has accomplished more during his tenure than any other President in the history of Ghana.

According to him, not even Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah has managed the nation better than President Akufo-Addo.

But speaking to SOMPA NEWS, Nana Jantuah said, Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was loved by royals within the Asante kingdom adding that great grandfathers of Dr. NAPO all supported Dr. Kwame Nkrumah since the women in the Apegyafie fed Dr. Nkrumah anytime he visited Kumasi.

Nana Yaa Jantuah has thus urged Dr. NAPO to sanitise his words adding he is no longer the Energy Minister but a leader who aspires to run the highest office of the land.
