Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region, Winifred Abaidu Anyin has launched an initiative dubbed "operation lighting your community in the district."
According to her, the security system needs to be strengthened in every community and for that matter has provided 1,000 street bulbs for all Assembly Members in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District.
Winifred Abaidu Anyin promised to add more street bulbs for every community in the district to be lightened to prevent petty theft cases recorded in the district.
NPP Constituency Chairman for AOB, Mr. Ebenezer Ebo Appiah Apreku described the NPP government to be the only political party fit enough in the country to prioritize the security of constituents, thereby providing street bulbs for all Assembly Members in AOB.
He noted that the provision of street bulbs by their PC, will go a long way to help small communities in the district and commended her for personally financing such a laudable course while she is yet to be an MP.
The Constituency Chairman urged individuals in the constituency to vote massively for the PC, since she has shown to bring much more development to the district when elected MP for AOB.
Some Assembly Members who received the street bulbs also thanked the PC for her resilience and dedicated leadership qualities.
They said the bulbs have come at the right time because most places in their electoral areas have been engulfed by darkness for far too long and are grateful for the PC's intervention.
