Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region, Hon. Winifred Abaidoo-Ayin has successfully filed her nomination forms to the Electoral Commission to appear eligible for 2024 general election.
The parliamentary candidate's colorful submission of nomination forms at the EC’s district office at Asikuma Odoben was steered by a massive support presence from party members and executives.
Speaking in an interview to Sompa News after filing her nomination forms, she thanked constituents of the district for the unflinching support till date and required of them to vote massively for her come December 7.
She added that as a candidate, she has been able to assist lot of youths through hand-skilled training and start-up kits after the training provided them.
Hon. Winifred observed that which she has done is the beginning, but assured to do even more when voted into power as MP of the constituency.
She expressed appreciation to the Electoral Commission for a smooth form filing process and also thanked her constituency executives, Chairman and DCE for the support rendered her.
Other party members in an engagement with the media, described their parliamentary candidate to be the sole individual who can facilitate the development the district yearns for.
They attested that the PC have been of immense help to many constituents since 2004, way before she even made her intentions known to contest for parliamentary seat of the district.
For this reason, their deliberate effort to support her achieve her dream of ascending to the district's parliamentary seat.
