General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party, Justin Frimpong-Kodua has shared his fears for the future of Ghana zooming into the 2024 general election.
He unravelled that his fear abounds to the reality that the December 7 election brings to bare two things from which one will certainly be elected into power, which is life and hardship, as each of them comes with its own effect and consequences on the country.
Justin Frimpong-Kodua made this statement at the Central Regional NPP Women's Wing Conference held on Sunday at Mankessim dubbed, "Winning Election 2024, The Role of Women."
According to him, should the country go for polls on December to elect life, will see to it that Ghana experience the comfort its citizenry so requires.
But should the outcome turn to be otherwise, it will seek to jeopardize the country's current economic system. Referring the life he touched on to be the NPP and the hardship to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Hon. Mavis Hawa Koomson, the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East and the Minister for Fisheries and Aqua-Culture Development at the event charged the party's women's wing to be convincing and persuasive enough in their campaign engagements with constituents.
She remarked that the NDC and John Dramani Mahama can never be an option in the forthcoming polls to the country's hardship on which he was massively voted against on 2016 as President of the state.
Ms. Charlotte Adjoa Antwi, the NPP Central Regional Women's Organizer in a media engagement on behalf of the women's wing, assured the party of massive victory by scooping at least 14 seats out of the region's 23 seats in the 2024 general election following positives gathered from the conference and hailed the enthusiasm of the women's wing showed towards the program.
