The activity which garnered a huge presence of party members, form part of the parliamentary candidate's campaign strategy to win the constituency's parliamentary seat for the first time for the NPP since inception of the Cape Coast South Constituency in 2012.
Hon. Ernest Arthur whose amiable personality has won him the accolade 'Mayor 1', in his campaign outreach on Friday visited over 200 small and medium size shops in areas like Kingsway, London Bridge, Coronation and Kotokuraba all in the Cape Coast South Constituency.
Speaking at a mini rally at the Kotokuraba Market, the parliamentary candidate, Hon. Ernest Arthur outlined reasons why constituents of Cape Coast South should elect him as their next Member of Parliament, highlighting the tangible works he has facilitated as the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Cape Coast.
He opined 12 years of no development under the incumbent MP, Hon. George Kwaku Ricketts-Hagan, thus the call to axed him off the parliamentary seat in replace of him come December 7 in the 2024 general election.
