The New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region, has challenged the people of Ghana, particularly, Asanteman, to stand up and vote against the politics of insults, going into the December 7th polls.

According to the party, the country is at a cross road; weather to move into a future of possibilities with Dr Bawumia, or return to the days of economic abyss, which John Mahama is noted for.

With barely two weeks to the December 7th elections, the party, at a press conference on Thursday, revealed that, the time has come for Ghanaians, especially the good people of Asanteman, to make a clear statement on December 7th- a vote against economic retardation and insults.

In the view of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, Ashanti regional Chairman of the party, who addressed the media, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the NDC has teamed up with other nation wreckers to stage an insult campaign targeting prominent figures of Asanteman.

According to Wontumi, with another massive defeat staring at their faces come December, the NDC's strategy now is to sponsor shameless faces to hit at Asanteman, adding the such attempts will always fail as Asanteman remains stronger together.
