Alhaji Collins Dauda, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Asutifi South Constituency in the Ahafo Region retained seat in the parliamentary elections.

Alhaji Dauda obtained 20,002 votes to beat his two contenders, Mr Yaw Owusu Brempong, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) and Mr Andrews Kofi Ahiamatah, the National Democratic Party (NDP) PC.

They both secured 16,092 votes, and 87 votes respectively, out of the 36, 199 total votes cast.

There were 267 rejected ballots.
