Osahene Kwaku Aterkyi I, the Paramount Chief of the Kukuom Traditional Area in the Ahafo Region has hailed the nomination of Mr Eric Opoku, as the Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture (MoFA)
With his nomination, he stressed that the chiefs and people of the area would forever be grateful to the President for giving Mr Opoku, also the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Asunafo South constituency to serve in his government and occupy an enviable position too.
In an interview at Kukuom, Osahene Aterkyi I congratulated the MP for his new political portfolio, and assured him that the chiefs and people of the area would support him to achieve his vision for the ministry. The Paramount Chief also commended stakeholders for peaceful and successful Election 2024, and urged them to bury their differences, forge ahead in unity and facilitate the progressive development of the district.
