Health Consultant unhappy about reckless driving on Sunyani Teaching Hospital Road

Dr Thomas Kyere, a health consultant at Sunyani-based 21st Clinic, specialist in sciatica has cautioned drivers against speeding on the Sunyani Teaching Hospital Road.

He said it was unfortunate and disturbing that some drivers disregard warnings from the Sunyani-Penkwasi traffic lights, and sped excessively on the hospital road.

Dr Kyere raised the concerns in an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani, saying that speeding on the road made it difficult for pedestrian, especially the aged to cross the stretch.

He said the 21 clinic was situated along the road and opposite the teaching hospital, saying that the health workers had witnessed countless of reckless driving on the stretch.

The Reverend Daniel Mensah of the Abesim-based Battle Ambassador Church also shared similar sentiments and commended the media for their contributions towards national development.

He expressed concern about reckless driving and motor riding on the Sunyani- Abesim Road too and called for concerted and decisive approach to tackle the challenge.
