Rev Minister blames families for surge in teenage pregnancy

The Reverend Daniel Mensah, the Leader of the Abesim-Ohene Djan Peace and Love Assembly branch of the Bethel Ambassadors Church International have expressed concern about the growing trend of sexual promiscuity and teenage pregnancy in the country.

He blamed some families for the social problem, and urged parents to instill in the minds of their children godliness and good morals to help reverse the trend.

In an interview with Sompa FM, Rev Minister noted that families who failed to raise their children in godliness did them more harm.

Rev Mensah also attributed the rise moral decadence and teenage pregnancy to divorce, and advised fathers in particular to draw their children closer to and listen and help address their basic adolescent needs.
