Dr Thomas Kyere, a health consultant at the Sunyani-based 21st Clinic, specialized in sciatica has urged parents and guardians to pay close attention to their children's safety to help prevent them from kidnapping and missing.
He noted that some children left their homes to play but fail to return hence the need for parents to monitor their movements and ensure that they are safe.
Dr Kyere also cautioned the public to be vigilant when boarding taxis and to avoid entering vehicles without taking the necessary precautions needed.
He gave the advice in an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani, saying calling on the government and security agencies to increase security posts to help protect the public and curb cases of kidnapping.
