15Residents of Kuotokrom and Yawhima in the Sunyani Municipality have appealed for the rehabilitation of deplorable condition of access roads in the area.
They said the poor condition of the Sunyani-Yawhima Road and other access roads in the area were affecting their economic activities.
According to them, they could not sell their food produce and other products along the roads because of the dusty condition.
Besides, they told Sompa FM that commercial drivers who used the Sunyani-Kuotokrom_Yawhima stretch charges exorbitant fares.
The residents expressed the fear that their frequent exposure to dust could lead to respiratory infections.
