Tricycle riders in Sunyani begs Odeefour Korkor II to rescind operational restrictions

Mr Yaw Eric Atanga, the Sunyani Municipal Chairman of the National Union of Tricycle Operators of Ghana has pleaded with Sunyani Traditional Council to allow the riders to operate through the Sunyani Masom Masom market route.

He said the restrictions imposed by Odeefour Ogyeamansan Boahen Korkor II, the Paramount Chief of the Sunyani Traditional Area on their economic activities had slowed down their economic activities.

Speaking to Ama Konadu on the Sunyani-based Sompa FM "Adea Akyi Abia" morning show, Mr Atanga described the order of the chief as unfair.

Mr Atanga also called on the Sunyani Municipal Assembly to provide a dedicated station and routes to the Pragyia riders to enhance their economic activities
