Wenchi Traditional Council suspends Twafohene, indefinitely

The Wenchi Traditional Council in the Bono Region has suspended Nana Akora ‎Tua Adutwum Kyeremeh Siasaa Kufour IV, the Twafohene of the Council, indefinitely.

‎Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III, the Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area and President of the Council announced the suspension at the council's meeting at Wenchi.

‎Accordingly, he said the Twafo stool of the council had also been overturned, explaining that the action was to investigate some allegations of breaches of the traditional stool leveled against the embattled sub-chief including land issues.

‎Osagyefo Tabrako III called on the general public and the media in particular, to avoid dealing with Nana Kuffour IV in his capacity as a sub-chief of the council.

‎Osagyefo Trabrako III further ordered Nana Kuffour IV to refrain from posing himself as a sub-chief or using the traditional title to avoid further sanctions.
