Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Member, Randy Abbey, has categorically ruled himself out of the GFA presidential race as the election approaches.
Abbey, who also serves as the president of Heart of Lions, firmly denied any speculations linking him to the highest office of the association.
In response to the rumors, Abbey stated, “I’m not interested in contesting for the GFA presidential seat, it is out of the equation.” His said in an interview with the media.
Abbey has played a crucial role as a member of the Executive Council under the leadership of Kurt Okraku’s GFA administration.
Heart of Lions, the club presided over by Abbey, recently secured promotion from Division One back to the top flight.
After enduring relegation eight years ago, they are now determined to make a significant impact in the upcoming season, as revealed by Abbey.
