Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton has admitted that his side will not have it easy against Madagascar in their upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match in Antananarivo.
Speaking in a press conference on Tuesday, the manager explained that every team is fighting to do well, adding that playing at home, Madagascar will want to win.
“There isn’t one opposition that we see that we think that we are going to win this game easily. Every international team is fighting to do well, and Madagascar will be no different. They are playing at home, they need to get results, so we will expect a difficult game,” he said.
However, he continued by adding that the performance of his team will determine the results of the game.
“It will be up to us to show in our performance to see what the outcome of the game will be but will be a team that will be ready, and it will be a tough game.”
