Ghanaian artiste Crown Buka has appealed to the Minister-designate for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Hon. Dzifa Gomashie to intervene and support artistes in maximizing their earnings on digital streaming platforms (DSPs).
Speaking exclusively on the Weekend Groove Show with DjQwequ on Ahomka FM monitored by Sompa TV's Eric Annan, Crown Buka emphasized the need for artistes to benefit financially from their work on DSPs.
He shared the believe that with the right support and structures in place, Ghanaian artistes can earn a decent living from their craft.
As the Minister-designate for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Hon. Dzifa Gomashie brings a wealth of experience in the Creative Arts industry, having served as Deputy Minister of Tourism from 2013 to 2017, as her passion for culture and education has earned her recognition both locally and internationally.
Crown Buka's comments come as he promotes his latest EP, 'Things In Me' which showcases his versatility as an artiste, as he experiments more melodic style, switching from his usual rap flow to singing.
