Ghanaian artiste, Ded Buddy has shared thoughts on why Ghanaian songs are not as popular as they once were.
Speaking on the Weekend Groove Show with DjQwequ on Ahomka FM monitored by Sompa News, Ded Buddy revealed that the passion and enthusiasm of past DJs, played a significant role in promoting Ghanaian music.
"Back in the day, media houses were scarce, but the DJs and presenters were extremely passionate about Ghanaian music. They loved playing our songs," he noted."
"Now, although there are more media houses, which is good, the energy and passion from current DJs and presenters seems to be lacking."
Ded Buddy acknowledged that current DJs are making efforts to promote Ghanaian music, but he believes their enthusiasm is not as high as it was in the past.
"Current DJs and presenters are doing their best, but I feel the energy is low now," he admonished.
