Joseph Amoah, a leading campaigner for Alan Kyerematen has said, Alan Kyerematen is in line and knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to his aspiration for the flagbearership position and does not bother about what others say about him.
According to him, the intentions of Mr. Alan Kyerematen were made known to the public through his address to the NPP fraternity and the declaration of the intent for the flagbearership of the ruling party.
Speaking to Omanhene on Sompa Tv, Wednesday 11th January 2023, he said the massive response from the people especially the grassroots after the resignation of the former Trade and Industry minister is a true reflection of the consistent call for him to lead the party.
He added that the communication bureau of the Alan Kyerematen campaign has officially begun its national campaign and believe this is the right time after the resignation of Mr.Kyerematen.
Commenting on the seven thematic areas outlined by the aspirant as his quantum leap, Mr. Amoah said, a leader is a servant and must work according to the trust and confidence reposed by the people, and that Mr. Kyerematen made the right call when he said his leadership will do away with the arrogance of power.
He added that it's important not to delink agriculture from industrialization and that one of the key thematic areas Mr. Kyerematen will be focusing on and improving upon is the agricultural and industrialization sector.
He explains the “Nato” “No action, talks only” cliché by Mr. Kyerematen” saying Ghanaians talk a lot without action and his comment will inspire him to put his thoughts into action and produce results when elected as the president of Ghana.
He added that Mr. Kyerematen's comment about downsizing his government is critical for efficiency in every good governance.
