Ghanaians advised against the Politics of Personalities and Insult.
The emergence of democracy has given room for varying opinions on good governance and the right to chastise governments on issues affecting a country.
However, politics according to the founder and leader of the Victory Outreach Church and Political activist, Apostle Paul Kofi Agyekum has lost its bite and is rather focused on attacking personality.
In a panel discussion on the Sompa Tv morning show on Thursday, January 12th, 2023, the Socialist advised Ghanaians to be decent and refrain from politics of insult and personality.
According to him, it's time for Ghanaians to change the mentality of attacking individuals instead of issues and have good morals in our political discourse.
He shared the view that elections are the only avenue to exercise our rights in choosing the right people and consensus building.
“Politics in Ghana and some parts of Africa is all about personality and insult and disrespectful behavior, the time has come for us to ask questions to find out why politics is like that in Africa.
Any country expecting greater things should understand that you cannot be successful if you continue to center your politics on personalities and insults.
