Member of Parliament for Cape Coast South constituency in the Central Region, Hon. George Kweku Ricketts-Hegan has described the ongoing parliamentary primaries to be his easiest ever contest to approach.
Speaking to Sompa TV/FM's Eric Annan in Cape Coast to earmark Eid Al-Fitr with Muslims in his constituency, declared the fight to retain his MP seat as a battle between the heavyweight and the bantamweights.
The incumbent MP in his run to retain his seat in Cape Coast South for the fourth consecutive time, faces stiff opposition from three aspirants.
The former Deputy Finance Minister on the May 13 slated election, called for peace among respective aspirants who he referred to as family.
He advised aspirants to refrain from the use of distasteful words on fellows in their campaign messages.
An action he recounted can go against the party in the 2024 general election if care is not taken.
Hon. Ricketts urged fellow aspirants to rally support behind whoever emerge winner in the contest he pose huge surety of winning.
Additionally, he assured Muslims in his constituency of former president, John Dramani Mahama's preparedness to fulfill all his projects promised to construct for the Zongo communities when the NDC finally assume power.
