Parliamentary aspirant for Cape Coast North constituency in the Central Region in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ongoing parliamentary primaries, Hammond Nii Martey Larbi has advised delegates to vote for loyal and reliable contestants to lead the party in the 2024 general election.
He told delegates to act wisely in their decision not to elect any aspirant who have nothing good to offer but money during polls.
Nii Hammond, as popularly known, made this statement at the commissioning of a party’s office at Efutu in the Cape Coast North constituency on Sunday May 7.
He encouraged delegates to vote for him to foster unity, peace and development to the party in the NDC's parliamentary poll slated for Saturday, May 13, 2023.
Kwesi Walker, the NDC Cape Coast North constituency Chairman speaking to Sompa TV/FM's Eric Annan referred to the well-executed party office at Efutu to be a symbol of unity for the party at the area, as he urged all party members to allow peace reign in its internal election to help the NDC evacuate the elephant to the push where it rightly belong.
Cecilia Nkrumah, a former Efutu Ward NDC Women's Organizer who currently works at the constituency level appealed to leadership for the party's women's wing who she said to own a huge number in the NDC to get prioritized and assisted with some financial support to enable them work effectively for the growth of the umbrella fraternity.
She further called for peace and the election of capable and reliable leaders who can see the women's wing through their plight in the party's parliamentary election come Saturday.
