The Member of Parliament for Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah has taken time to inspect the district's ongoing roads reshaping exercise might to improve road accessibility in the area.
Speaking to Sompa News, the Member of Parliament described that majority of roads in the district are in a deplorable state, particularly the Kokoso-Amanfopong road stretch which poses to be a struggle for drivers and commuters to access. Hence, thought it wise to make it accessible enough for road users.
According to him, aside the aforementioned road stretch, there are several other roads that needs to be reshaped like the Supun to Okukrom road stretch, Breman Mante, Brakwa Senior High (BRASTECH) road stretch and many others in the district.
He assured to often reshape the roads to make it accessible for drivers so as to enable them transport food stuffs from smaller towns for farmers to enjoy the fruit of their labour.
Some road users who plies the road daily also added to the MP's voice with thanks for the great course undertaken by him on the area's deplorable roads, as they recounted to be finding it difficult to easily access the area's roads before.
Drivers at the area on the other hand remarked the reshaping to have aid in now making roads at the district become motorable enough.
