Mr Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh, the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunyani East says the Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the Election 2024 Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), remains sensitive to the plight Ghanaians.
He emphasised that there was no way Alhaji Dr Bawumia's government would disappoint the nation, and therefore, urged the electorates to vote for the NPP when they go to polls on December 7.
In an interview with the media in Sunyani, Mr Ameyaw-Cheremeh, also the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Sunyani East constituency reminded the electorates that it would be politically and economically suicidal, if they mistakenly voted for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
Mr Ameyaw-Cheremeh, also the Board Chairman of the Bui Power Authority (BPA), the managers of the Bui Generating Station in the Banda District of the Bono Region granted the interview after he inspected progress of work on the on-going asphalt overlay of the eight-kilometer Sunyani town roads.
He therefore entreated all the electorates in the constituency to avoid the temptation of "skirt and blouse" voting, saying he was confident and convinced that with the level of development in the constituency, the electorates would vote for him and Alhaji Dr Bawumia.
Mr John Ansu Kumi, the Sunyani Municipal Chief Executive told Sompa FM that the government and the MP had not failed the people, saying every community in the constituency had equally benefited from the sharing of the national cake.
He said through the instrumentality of the MP, most of the immediate needs of the local communities had been tackled, and called on the electorates to vote and retain the MP and the government in political power for development to thrive.
