Nana Wiafe Asubonteng, the Chief of Adaa, a farming community in the Tano South Municipality of the Ahafo Region has urged the Member of Parliament- elect for the area to fulfil his campaign promise.
He told Mr Charles Akwasi Asiedu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP-elect the same electorates who elected him would vote against him in the Election 2028, if he failed to fulfil his electioneering promises.
Nana Asubonteng gave the advice when the MP-elect visited and expressed his appreciation to the electorates in the community for giving him the nod in the parliamentary elections to represent them in the next parliament.
"Four years is not long as we are watching you and your government from afar. We promised to support you during the electioneering and that is what we have done", he stated, stressing that "we also expect you to fulfil your promises too".
Nana Asubonteng also cautioned the MP-elect against arrogance, and asked him to endeavour to serve the people in humility and diligence.
Mr Asiedu, the MP-elect expressed his appreciation to the chiefs and people of the Tano South for their support, and pledged to ensure that the immediate and pressing needs of the local communities were tackled as soon as possible.
