4Commercial drivers and food vendors, operating around the Central Business District (CBD) of Sunyani, the Bono Regional capital say they are unhappy about the relocation of the Sunyani main lorry station.
The city authorities relocated the lorry station to the Sunyani Municipal Hospital enclave temporarily, and to pave the way for the rehabilitation of the old station.
During a visit on Thursday, Sompa FM noticed that construction works on the pavement of the lorry station were progressing steadily.
However, the project has contributed to an unusual human and vehicular congestion around the CBD's enclave.
In a random interview, the commercial drivers expressed worry that the relocation of the station had slowed down their economic activities.
