Landlords should issue rent cards to their tenants ‎

The acting commissioner for Rent control has called on the landlords, property owners to provide the needed and essential documents for their tenants.

‎The instructions came out of the recent controversies raised at the kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) ‎campus about the hostel issues.

‎Addressing the media at the rent control premises in Sunyani municipality in the Bono region, Mr Frederick Opoku, the commissioner said, they should provide accurate information and give the information on how much they have spent.

‎Also, they should cooperate with the lawful inspections and assessment processes.

‎Mr opoku further called on the Tenants and students to make an application to the rent control if they are worried about the consistent increment.
