“I’m still trying to find out what’s really going on” – Burna Boy opens up on feeling spiritually unfulfilled

Nigerian music icon Burna Boy says that despite exploring both Christianity and Islam, he still feels unfulfilled in his search for spiritual enlightenment.

Speaking in an interview with streamer Playboymax, the Grammy-winning artist reflected on his lifelong quest for deeper meaning and understanding.

He revealed that he grew up Christian before converting to Islam but added that the transition has not given him all the answers he seeks. “It’s like I’ve studied it all, but I’m still out here trying to find out what’s really going on,” he said.

Burna Boy emphasised that his spiritual journey is far from over, describing it as an evolving process of exploration and introspection.

The Afrobeats star, known for his introspective lyrics and bold social commentary, said he continues to search for a sense of peace and purpose beyond fame and success.
