As the delegates’ conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) heats up in the Ashanti region, election connoisseurs have predicted a two-horse chairmanship race in the election of regional executives.

One of the Ashanti Region chairmanship aspirants of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Oheneba Kofi Adum Bawuah, showcased his reason for vying for the position.

According to him, he will make sure each delegate gets free scholarship Visa to the United States of America (U.S.A) should he emerge winner in their upcoming elections.

Speaking to the media today, Oheneba Bawuah clearly stated that he will only give transportation fares to all the delegates but he will never buy their vote.

Would it be the incumbent Bernard Antwi Boasiako known as Chairman Wontumi or Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, aka COKA?

Though other aspirants have little chance of winning, their impact on the elections is not undermined.

"The delegates are not tomatoes on the market that any aspirant can easily buy with money. But for me, I will promise them of each delegate, one free scholarship to study in America". He added.

Oheneba Kofi Adum Bawuah also said he aims to promote and foster unity among the members of the party at the regional level which seems to have divisiveness in it.

Adum Bawua’s promises has taken over the centre stage in the region, as to his gangantua promises yield positive result is a fortail his camp is anticipating.
