The University Relations officer of Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology has stated the university would not extend registration period for the over thousand students who are unable to register
Speaking in an interview with sompaonline.com on the development, Dr Norris Bekoe reiterated most of the defaulting students used their school fees for other businesses such as uber and mybet.
He stated, that the university authority has twice extended the deadline for their registrations, and there was nothing the authority could do again.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
According to the student’s representative council President, Master Michael Buah, the SRC has asked the schools management for another extension date but it may likely not be granted
The SRC has engaged management about a second extension but the difficulty is that it someway somehow very difficult and they are true because of a grace period from the 24th of March which was the previous deadline to the 7th of April.
He also said that the SRC has disbursed some amount of money to some 2380 students to pay their school fees and is still trying to help other students to be able to finish their payment.
